When it comes to goal achieving the first step you must take
is to set your mind for change to take place in your life.
If you don’t yet have that goal then you have a certain way of thinking that has maybe got in the way in the past
So that thinking needs to be changed and set differently
So that your internal processes, namely
Your thoughts, emotions and internal focus
Is in alignment with what you want in the future.
So how do you set your mind up for success?
You set you mind to carry out something in your life
just like you would set an alarm clock to wake you up in the morning.
When you set that alarm clock your pretty sure that alarm will go off at that specific time each morning.
Setting your mind for change means making a quality decision as to what you want
and committing to the process of what its going to take to get you to that end result.
Successful people in all walks of life become successful
because they first set their mind for success.
They program that success into their mind from the start.
They don’t think to themselves, "how is this even possible,"
"What if I fail."
"What if someone makes fun of me and tells me I'm wasting my time,"
NO!
Firstly they set their minds on what it is they want to achieve
And then think,
"How am I going to get from where I am now to where I want to be?
What is the first step I need to take now?"
And they they go about designing a strategy
Which they put into place and follow on a daily basis.
They first set their mind in alignment with the goal ahead
Not on the problems that could come up along the way
Not on the what if’s.
So if you are ready to make a change in some area of your life
Then the first step you need to take is to set your mind up for what it is you want.
Doesn't matter where you are right now.
You don’t set your mind according to your circumstances.
You don’t set your mind according to other people’s opinion
of how successful they think you will be.
You don’t set your mind according to your fears or failures.
You set your mind on what it is exactly you would like to achieve and what it is
that will take you there.
This is your foundation.
Everything else comes after that.
