Being successful on a consistent basis and growing as a business professional and entrepreneur is all about developing good habits. It’s the small daily successes that lead to the grand vision and the key to those daily rewards are in your routine.

A building lasts so long because of its solid foundation and good deliberate habits are the foundation to all successful people in any walk of life.

The key to forming good habits is to keep things simple so you don’t become overwhelmed!

1)Morning Ritual

The key to starting your day productively is to have a morning ritual. I recommend a simple 10-minute meditation that is affirmation based.

This helps you make the transition from the process of sleep to opening your mind with positive insights that will help you change your state. This can help you start your day with a better frame of mind. If you decide to meditate, make sure you get out of bed and meditate sitting on a chair or on the ground(Don’t do your meditation in bed).

Many people also like to exercise first thing in the morning as it also helps dramatically change state and gets the body moving and ready for the day ahead.

2)Have a Daily Structure

When we have structure in our lives, we have order.

If you have your day mapped out, you can prioritise certain tasks so that you are deliberately and constructively working toward your goals. Each day you should be chunking down your goals into micro goals so that you are make progress each day and not just taking any old action for the sake of looking busy.

The reason why people with goals succeed in life is because they know exactly where they are going.

3)Getting Productive Sleep

As an entrepreneur it is important to get quality sleep. This gives the conscious mind a chance to rest and switch off from the thoughts and mental activities of the day.

Learning how to sleep well is a skill just like any other skill you can develop. As you are in bed at night you should be teaching yourself to relax, allowing the mind and body to enjoy the peace before your unconscious takes you into sleep.

Remember sleep is an unconscious process so you cannot consciously go to sleep.

Going through a sleep hypnosis practice can have huge benefits in that it will help you unwind and distract your mind from overthinking deliberately guiding you into sleep.

Bedtime is not a time to deliberate on your thoughts. It’s an important part of your day where you switch off allowing yourself to drift into sleep so the mind and body can recharge and renew getting ready for the day ahead.

3 simple habits that anyone can adopt that could make the difference between living in a state of anxiousness, negativity, and burnout to feeling alive, motivations and productive.
